Privacy
Short version: we ask for one thing, an email address, and only if you want the newsletter. No cookies, no trackers, no ad networks.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you subscribe to The Redraw, together with the date you subscribed and which page you subscribed from.
- Ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, requested page) kept for a short time to keep the site running and to block abuse.
That is the whole list. We do not set cookies, we do not run analytics that identify you, and we do not embed third-party trackers.
Why we have it
To send you the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your address, and we do not use it to advertise other people's products to you.
Who else touches it
Our email is delivered by Sender, which stores your address in order to send the mail and to handle unsubscribes. The site itself runs onRailway. Both act as processors on our behalf.
Confirming and leaving
Subscriptions are confirmed by email (double opt-in): after you sign up we send one message with a confirmation link, and only when you click it do you join the list. Never clicked? Then you never hear from us again.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately: one click, no questions, no "are you sure". We also keep a record of when and from which page each subscription was made, which is how we can show that you asked for the mail in the first place.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or a place with similar rules, you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write tohello@handorial.com and we will do it, with no forms and no arguing.
Children
Handorial is made for a general audience, not for children, and the newsletter is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, subscribers get told in an email, not by a silent edit.
